A statement from Healthwatch Bucks said: "As the independent watchdog for health and social care services in the county, we want to hear about the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on local services.

"We are asking residents of Buckinghamshire to complete our surveys. These views are then shared with the decision-making organisations, so together a real difference can be made. Let us know what it was it like to live in a Buckinghamshire care home during the pandemic."

They have also called on relatives of people living in local care homes and care workers to share their experiences.

They are hoping lessons can be learned for the future, and have promised all answers will be kept strictly confidential.

The statement continued: "By working together, we hope to capture information which impacted on the care residents received at this time. You can access the survey for residents and relatives here and the one for members of staff here.

"Our survey is online, but we recognise that not everyone can access the internet or choses to use it. If you, or someone you know, would prefer to talk to us, please email us at [email protected] or call 01844 348839."
