Flip out trampoline and adventure is set to open up in Aylesbury Town Centre on the former site of British Home Stores in Friars Square.

The new store is set to create up to 60 new jobs.

Flip Out is one of the largest trampoline providers in the United Kingdom, and is set to move in to the old British Home Stores building in Friars Square shopping centre.

Richard Beese, the franchise co-founder, said: "We want to produce something really special here in Aylesbury that will be revolutionary for an adventure park - a Flip Out Super Centre, bursting at the sides with non-stop attractions to keep everyone entertained."

The new superstore will be over two floors and the company has applied to the Council for change of use.

BHS closed in 2016 and the space has been used, among other things, as a charity shop.

It's anticipated that around 10 full-time and 50 part-time roles will be created, with opening times being 10 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday and then 10 am to 7 pm on a Sunday.

Flip Out cater for kids, teens and adults providing an array of activities, including battle beams, climbing walls, potholing, laser tag, trampolines, and inflatables. They also have designated, themed, party rooms, bars and restaurant facilities from mums and dads who might prefer to put their feet up and watch. In addition, they run disability sessions where carers are allowed in for free.

The brand has been growing rapidly over the last 18 months and now have 24 sites in the UK with many more planned.

Mr Beese added:" We are trying to bring much-needed life and fun back to the high street as many more traditional retailers feel the pinch and leave the space."
