Eight fire crews called to blaze at Grade I listed parkland near to country house in Stowe
Eight fire crews were called to a blaze on the site of parkland near to popular attraction Stowe House.
Firefighters were called to Stowe Park at 6.30pm on Tuesday March 10, with Bucks Fire and Rescue confirming crews from Banbury, Buckingham, Bicester, West Ashland, Aylesbury and Wheatley were sent to tackle the blaze.

The fire was located on the ground floor within an extraction unit and machinery, with crews using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke from the site and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
Stowe House, the gardens and the parkland are all owned by the National Trust, with the gardens and majority of the parkland listed as Grade I separately from the house, which also has that status.
The National Trust has been approached for comment.
