I know the subject of veganism divides opinion, and that for some reason, the life choices of others, particularly with regard to whether they eat dead animals or not, can make people quite angry.

Of course we have all seen footage of some vegan pickets at abattoirs, butchers and steakhouses, and maybe that’s not your thing, maybe you think - how dare they?!

But consider this. We live in a selfish world where, let’s face it, a lot of people don’t really care about much outside their own family and friendship unit.

Not many of us would consider standing up for anything that doesn’t affect us directly.

So, to care about something so much that you are prepared to stick your neck out in this way, whatever it may be, is to be applauded and respected I think.

So my message this week is campaign for what you like, but don’t hurt anyone else in the process!

And with regard to the KFC burger, if you ordered beef and were served horse you’d complain wouldn’t you?
