Only last week it seemed like once we ‘flattened the curve’ we would all be sitting in the pub again or in our favourite cafe with our pals, and the worst of it would be over.

It seems like lockdown in some form will continue for a while to come, and it’s hard not to feel quite depressed about that

prospect.

But we mustn’t lose sight of why we are doing this. We are doing the best and kindest and most alturistic thing that many of us will ever do. How many of us in our lifetimes have had the chance to actually save lives? Well now we do.

And, as much as we hate this situation, it will end, we will see each other again and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t forget some news is designed to scare you so pick wisely, and don’t lose faith!
