EastEnders films in Aylesbury as stars visit local businesses
Some EastEnders cast members have been spotted in Aylesbury as the hit show has been filmed in the town this week.
Aylesbury’s Old County Hall building has been used as the setting for an upcoming court case in the long-running soap.
According to social media rumours, EastEnders actors have also been spotted filming in other town centre locations.
A widely-shared image on social media shows the historic Market Square building is being used as ‘Walford Crown Court’. A temporary sign outside the town council owned building can be seen in the social media post.

Some Aylesbury businesses have benefited from the small screen production. Recently opened, The Fat Grill, catered for a the cast and crew, providing cuisine for around 50 people who were involved with filming. A spokesperson for the company told The Bucks Herald that Pierre Counihan-Moullier, who plays Max Branning, enjoyed the hot honey burger, and castmate Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, who stars as Jasmine Fisher, went for the smashburger.
"The cast and crew were very nice and polite. They were a fun bunch [and it] was lovely to meet them as most of our friends [and] family are fans of EastEnders,” the spokesperson said. Members of the Fat Grill team were pictured with the cast members nextdoor in The Grapes.
In 2013, EastEnders used Aylesbury’s prison as the location for a scene involving key cast members. The Bucks Herald reported at the time that Jessie Wallace and Sam Womack were sighted at the jail on Bierton Road.
Former EastEnders cast members James Bye and Nigel Harman have also been mainstays in Aylesbury, both were star performers in pantomimes held at the Waterside Theatre.
