Hide AdrRIPPLE, which stands for Repairing and Improving Public Paths for Leisure and Exercise, runs a Donate A Gate scheme, where members of the public can donate money to help keep up the group's good work.
The scheme is open to individuals, groups, organisations, businesses and parish councils. rRIPPLE will then install the gate, organise a plaque with your name and message, tell you where it is, and send you a photograph of it when the work is done. So far 13 stiles have been replaced as a result of the scheme.
Pictured at the unveiling of the new stile is Peter Smith of Chilton, Aylesbury Rambler Joe Fontura of Aylesbury and Charles Boon of Haddenham, photographed by Jerry Michell also of Haddenham.
