"This is fantastic news, when you look at the national average of walking club memberships falling by one per cent per year. If you want to make new friends as well as keeping fit this January, please join us for a walk sometime!”
The Ramblers-affiliated Chiltern Young Walkers will be leading two walks this weekend.
The first – six miles long – will go from Gerrards Cross to Hedgerley and back from 1.30pm on Saturday, starting from the pond on West Common.
The second – 7.5 miles long – will explore the Warburg Nature Reserve, starting from 10.30am on Sunday at Maidensgrove Common, Maidensgrove.
