Buckinghamshire Council share ideas for lockdown 'Easter' celebrations

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic however, we are all having to adapt and reschedule our plans.

If thoughts of how to keep your children entertained for a fortnight fills you with panic, don’t worry, the Buckinghamshire Council have some useful ideas and inspiration for you.

They have created a dedicated page on our website with suggestions for things to do which families can use as a starting point. The website also has other useful information on health and wellbeing and education and schools.

Gareth Williams, Executive Portfolio Holder for Health and Culture said: “We are lucky to live in an age of modern technology which gives us access to a whole range of resources and inspiration at our fingertips.

“Of course, with the weather improving, nobody wants to spend the Easter holidays cooped up indoors but we all know that we must be responsible and only go out briefly once a day with just our own families, in line with the Government guidance.

“There is a wealth of information and inspiration online for families with children of all ages. Our pages give some ideas of things to do at home but there is so much more out there. Now could be the time to start a new hobby or activity as a family and to enjoy spending quality time together.”
