According to new research from Flowercard married couples living in Buckinghamshire have the 4th highest marriage success rate in the UK, of 91.97%.

To put this into perspective, the UK as a whole has a marriage success rate of 59.09%.

The study analysed government data to discover the number of divorces that were finalised between 2011-2020 to reveal what parts of the UK and the world have the highest marriage success rate.

Somerset - 93.88% marriage success rate

Surrey - 92.98% marriage success rate

Lincolnshire - 92.47% marriage success rate

Buckinghamshire - 91.97% marriage success rate

Northamptonshire - 91.68% marriage success rate

Hertfordshire - 91.47% marriage success rate

North Yorkshire - 91.39% marriage success rate

Leicestershire - 91.09% marriage success rate

Cumbria - 91.08% marriage success rate

Derbyshire - 90.72% marriage success rate

When it comes to the counties where couples are more likely to stay together, Somerset comes out on top, with a marriage success rate of 93.88%.

Surrey and Lincolnshire follow with a success rate of 92.98% and 92.47% respectively.
