Big screen stardom for Aylesbury Pauline Quirke Academy youngsters
After winning their category in the Big Screen Classics film competition, members of the academy's youngest group went to London’s O2 Cineworld to see their film on the big screen.
Magic Carpet and Measuring up, a recreation of the scene from the much- loved musical, Mary Poppins, was filmed by the children and featured three members of the Pauline Quirke Academy in the roles of Mary Poppins, Jane and Michael Banks.

"It was such an amazing day" said Harrison who played Michael, "I’m now famous!"
The spokesman added: "We are very proud to be the recipient of yet another award to add to the ever-growing collection which is a testament to all the children’s hard work within the academy.
