Aylesbury Vale District council to offer free Christmas parking in town centre
AVDC car parks in Aylesbury and Wendover will be free after 3.30pm on the following Thursdays: 28 November, 5 December, 12 December and 19 December.
This will allow visitors to take advantage of the many bars and restaurants in the towns, as well as the late-night shopping in Aylesbury – that takes place the first three Thursdays in December.

Hide AdIn addition, Walton Street car park in Aylesbury will be free all day on the following Sundays: 1 December, 8 December, 15 December and 22 December.
This includes the day of Buckinghamshire’s biggest free Christmas Craft & Gift Fair - which takes place in Market Square on Sunday 1 December between 11am to 3pm.
For residents and visitors unfamiliar with Walton Street car park, this is the largest AVDC car park in the town, with 525 available spaces.
Conveniently located for the heart of the town centre, it can be found opposite Bucks New University (Aylesbury Campus).

Hide AdThe car park offers a pleasant and scenic stroll to the shops and restaurants, with the walkway passing by the canal and the award-winning Waterside Theatre.
In Buckingham, Cornwalls Meadow car park will be free all day on Saturday 14 December – to benefit the popular Christmas parade happening on that day.
AVDC Parking Services Manager Naomi Batson, commented:
“I’m delighted that we’re able to offer selected free parking in Aylesbury, Buckingham and Wendover over the festive period.
"Visitors to Aylesbury can take advantage of the free parking during the Thursday late-night openings to do some (or all!) of their Christmas shopping.
