A mum has transformed her career in marketing to pursue her passion for fitness – by setting up a fitness programme business venture.

Tara Eastmead, who is mum to four-year-old Gabriella, set up Step Change, which supports and motivates people
who want to be fitter and healthier.

Tara, who grew up in Aylesbury and still lives in Weedon took part in several sports while studying at Aylesbury High School.

But, it was her passion for running which made her want to transform her career to make fitness her day job.

She said: “I wanted to do something which helps make a difference to people’s lives.

“Like most people I’ve experienced up and downs in my life and I found that exercise really helped me deal with the tough periods of my life” Step Change is also part of Tara’s lifestyle, and because of this she says she is able to give people advice based on her own experiences.

She says Step Change is a unique program aimed for people who need support and motivation to help them achieve a healthier and happier lifestyle.

She said: “As well as weight loss it’s about gaining confidence and finding the balance to enjoy a long-term happy and healthy lifestyle”.

It looks to transform a person’s life into a long-term achievable healthy lifestyle through workouts, clean eating, one to one and group support.

She added: “I am passionate to educate people that exercise and healthy eating doesn’t have to be a laborious chore – you don’t have to
forego the nice things in
life in order to be fit and healthy”.
