The charity is calling on would-be adventurers to join them in March 2021 on a trek through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley to raise money for people affected by lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer in the UK.

With the full support of trained expedition leaders and Maasai guides, those taking part in the nine-day challenge will enjoy the stunning scenery and amazing wildlife across the grasslands, valleys, hills and volcanoes of the Great Rift Valley. The bespoke trek is a first for Lymphoma Action, the only charity in the UK dedicated to lymphoma. Funds raised from the event will support the work of the charity in making sure everyone affected by the condition receives the best possible information, support, treatment and care.

“Kenya's Great Rift Valley trek promises to be the challenge of a lifetime!” says Adele Matthews, Challenge Events Fundraiser at Lymphoma Action. “We are really excited that our first ever bespoke trek is taking place in such an incredible location. The challenge is open to anyone who is interested in joining Team Lymphoma, and supporting our work so that no one has to face lymphoma alone.”

Places for Lymphoma Action’s Great Rift Valley trek are limited, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. For further details, or to register your interest in taking part, visit https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/get-involved-take-part-event-overseas/kenyas-great-rift-valley-trek-2021
