Village knitters from the WI have created this amazing tribute in honour of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The hand-crafted creation, featuring Her Majesty with corgis, a crown and a royal carriage, adorns the post box in the centre of Thornborough.It was created by the local Thornbirds craft group, who are all members of the Tingewick Patchers, and some of whom also belong to the Thornborough and Thornton WI.
Thornborough village is celebrating the Jubilee with a Sports Day on the Village Greenon Friday, June 3.
