John Cooper, who has played clarinet since he was a teenager and the saxophone for five years, delivered the three verse song at 8pm on Thursday evening, as neighbours came to their doors to clap and cheer.
Electronic design engineer John used to play in a church orchestra, and his wife Lorraine said how moving the reaction from residents of the street has been every Thursday.

She said: "It's wonderful every Thursday, all the clapping and people waving. It is really bringing us all together.
"Recently we printed leaflets to put through doors in our neighbourhood, with our number and asking if anyone needed anything. And lots of people have stopped and spoken to us and said thank you, but also offered us support too.
"I think this country has changed for the better and people are kinder to each other, they know that a smile or a hello could make all the difference to someone's day."
