Paramedic stabbing accused appears in court

The man accused of stabbing a paramedic answering an emergency call appeared in court this morning.

Stephen Pullen, of Eaton Road, Aylesbury indicated that he would plead not guilty to charges of wounding with intent, and unlawful and malicious wounding.

Bearded Pullen, 43, appeared via video link from the prison where he is on remand.

The charges relate to an incident in January where a paramedic was stabbed with a screwdriver, as he transported a patient to Stoke Mandeville Hospital by ambulance.
