Pair convicted of stealing heating oil

Two men have been convicted of stealing heating oil from a rural home.

Ionut Baluta, 20 and Arvydos Juskaustas, 24, both of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the offences which took place in Granborough.

Baluta pleaded guilty to one count of theft of heating oil; one count of driving without a valid licence and one count of driving without insurance.

Juskaustas pleaded guilty to one count of theft of heating oil.

Both men received a fine of £110 plus costs and victim surcharge.

Baluta additionally received a fine of £110, six points for no insurance and six points for driving without a valid licence.

PC Ben Dyke from Aylesbury police station, said: “Thames Valley Police is committed to investigating and reducing crime in our rural communities.

“I hope that this sends out a strong message to anyone wishing to travel to the Thames Valley in order to commit crime, we will actively look for you and you will be caught.”
