Aylesbury College celebrated the success of some of its most outstanding apprentices at an awards evening attended by more than 50 students, staff and employers.
The event was part of the ninth annual National Apprenticeship Week, which took place from March 14 to 18. The week is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.
Aylesbury College principal and chief executive Karen Mitchell, pictured with some of the award winners, said: “It is so inspiring to meet these young award winners who are working so hard to develop themselves while making such a positive impact on their employers. As the largest provider of apprenticeship training in Bucks, Aylesbury College is very proud of the achievements of all our apprentices.”
Awards were also made to employers who have given outstanding support to their apprentices and trainees with Stoke Mandeville Auto Centre, Tiggywinkles and Fowler Electrical receiving awards.
