Panto stars vox pop: How will they be spending Christmas Day?

We caught up with the stars of festive fun show Cinderella at the Waterside Theatre to find out what they’ll be doing today.

Fairy godmother, Suzanne Shaw:

“I’ll be spending all day on the sofa! I don’t intend to do anything except stuff my face – it is Christmas, after all! I’m really looking forward to it, then on Boxing Day I’ll be back to pantoland.”  Baron Hardup, Russell Grant:

“I’ll go to church, have lunch with my mum and brother. Then visit Dad and my stepmum. And tune into the Strictly Christmas special which I’m on this year.” 

Cinderella, Holly Brewer:

“I’ll chill with my favourite people in the world - my family and my boyfriend. I literally do nothing on Christmas Day apart from eat, give presents, open presents and watch a film.”

The Prince, Andrew Derbyshire:

“I’ll be with my family up north in Burnley, Lancashire, with my brothers and sisters and their children. That’s three nephews, two nieces and my baby dog Percy.”

Buttons, Andy Collins:

“I’ll have Christmas dinner with my mum, dad and my two children Molly and Harry. We’ll all be wearing Christmas jumpers and there’ll be a prize for the worst one. I’ll win.”
