Oh yes she is! EastEnders Michelle will star in panto
Media partner The Bucks Herald can reveal that this year’s star-studded panto will be Aladdin, and lead role The Genie of The Ring will be played by EastEnders and Coronation Street star, Michelle Collins.
Best known for her iconic soap roles, Michelle says that appearing the production is a dream come true.

Hide AdShe said: “I love panto, and Aladdin has to be one of my absolute favourites!
“It’s the very best festive tradition where all of the family can come together and enjoy some good old fashioned fun, and I hear that the audiences in Aylesbury really go all out to join in the silliness, so I’m really looking forwward to spending time with you this Christmas.”
And Michelle is not the only star who will tread the Waterside boards this fesrive season.
Back by popular demand is favourite Andy Collins, who will appear for his sixth year at the theatre playing Aladdin’s cheeky and mischievous brother Wishee-Washee.

“I just love the Waterside and can’t wait to bring our special kind of fun to such fabulous audiences once more.
“Get ready people, this year is going to be even bigger and better than before... Oh yes it is!”
Also appearing, and making her panto debut is The Only Way Is Essex star Jasmin Walia who will play her princess namesake, and Britian’s Got Talent’s La Voix who will play Widow Twankey.
