The Wednesday Club in Waddesdon, which has been running successfully for 35 years, is offering places to new members.
The club runs from 10am until around 2.45pm, helping to provide a day of friendship, food and enjoyment at the village hall.
Activities are geared to be suitable for the ages of the members, their abilities and personal interests.
The club is run by volunteers who employ a co-ordinator, a cook and have someone who helps with general duties, and receives funding from Buckinghamshire County Council with donations from local groups.
Members pay £16 a day which includes a two-coure hot lunch and entertainment in the form of music, a speaker, a quiz or exercises.
The club sometimes goes out to lunch and arranges trips to places of interest.
Places are availble to Waddesdon residents and people from the surrounding area, and transport may be available.
