A popular butcher’s has relocated to Haddenham, to stand on the site of a former shop.
Egg House Charcuterie, opened its doors in Haddenham last week, on the site of the former Parminters shop on The Green.
The family-run business started life in Kimble in 2012.
Ricky (pictured) has been a butcher since leaving school and has won awards for his sausages.
Emily comes from a family of food lovers, and when she married Ricky in 2006 she began developing recipes which are now used within the business.
Ricky said: “The business is built around the desire to source as much of the meat we sell as locally as possible, in order to support the local smallholders and small scale farmers.
“A lot of our meat comes from within ten miles of our HQ, to provide the highest quality meat, always from British outdoor reared free range animals.”
He added: “Quite simply we believe that the best meat comes from people who care passionately about how animals are reared.”
Parminters was put up for sale in March this year.
Three generations of the same family had run the shop.
