Deluxe Beauty is set to open in the first week of March at 40 High Street in Aylesbury.

The parlour is the brainchild of Kausalae Bunny, 38, a beauty therapist of more than ten years experience.

Ms Bunny was previously based in London, however she has now moved her firm to Aylesbury.

She said: “It has been very hard to get my shop open (in the current climate for small businesses).

“I am a simple person and I have worked hard to get it open.

“The landlord and agent were very helpful.”

Mayor of Aylesbury Barbara Russel opened the parlour and even sampled some of the treatments on offer.

Ms Bunny, 38, was born in Sri Lanka and brought up in France.

She moved to England in 2002 before starting work as a beauty therapist in Aylesbury three years ago.

She said: “Previously I was only doing basic beauty treatments, now I want to do more challenging ones.”

Among the treatments set to be offered are body wraps.

These generally consist of the application of a product such as mud, clay or seaweed before the guest is then wrapped in plastic and a warm blanket.

The treatment is designed to rid the body of toxins.

Ms Bunny said: “I want to do body wrap treatments and other therapy treatments which currently aren’t being offered in Aylesbury.”

Preparations are still ongoing ahead of the parlour being open to the public for business.

Ms Bunny says she intends to create a website and social media pages for the business, while there are plans to sell beauty items further down the line.
