New Aylesbury JD store to open this weekend

Sports and fashion retailer JD is opening its new store in Friars Square this Saturday.

JD’s new premium store format is in a prominent 4,000 sq ft unit facing Next and New Look in Friars Square.

Known as the Undisputed King of Trainers, JD sells branded and own brand sports and casual wear. Customers will find big brands such as Nike, adidas and The North

Face alongside own brand labels.

Friars Square centre manager Andy Margieson said: “It’s a very exciting moment for Friars Square and for our shoppers seeking great sportswear and leading fashion.

“It’s also a real plus for Aylesbury that such a major national retailer has invested in its new premium store format in our town. It looks stunning.”

The arrival of JD follows New York Deli recently expanding its presence In Friars Square by taking over and additional 3,000 sq ft opposite its existing premises which it will also continue to operate. New York Deli is offering a take away menu during the coronavirus restrictions.
