Nevermind! Louie's making a big splash

A water mad tot who took part in an album art-worthy photoshoot has been selected as the face of a national swimming club.

Louie Maple, from Aylesbury, has been named the face of the Water Babies infant swimming franchise for the month of June.

And the picture, which is reminicent of the band Nirvana’s iconic 1991 Nevermind album cover leaves viewers in no doubt about how much the youngster loves the water.

Louie’s mother Emma, who sent in the photo of her little swimmer captured at the MS Centre pool in Aylesbury, said: “We are delighted Louie has been selected to be the June Face of Water Babies.

“Since Louie started his Water Babies experience
with his dad when he was 10 weeks old, he has learned so many wonderful skills.

“He is not only developing a life skill, he is bonding with his Dad and enjoying every minute of his sessions – no wobbles!

“Thanks to the whole Water Babies team, especially Karen, his instructor”
