Milly is new high sheriff

A volunteer Waddesdon Manor bus driver has been named the new High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire.

Milly Soames, whose husband Rupert is Winston Churchill’s grandson,has lived in Buckinghamshire for 25 years and has her home on a small farm near Cuddington. With her children now living away from home she keeps herself busy farming, supporting local charities and volunteering. She is a patron of the Pace Centre in Aylesbury and has helped to raise £5 million for the scheme.
