Metal pole attack as two men break into Aylesbury home

A teenager was attacked with a metal pole when two men entered his home through an unlocked door '“ but he managed to chase them off.

It happened shortly before 2pm on Friday when a 19-year-old man was inside a home in Harvey Road.

Two men entered through an unlocked door and he was assaulted by one of them with a metal pole.

The victim managed to defend himself and chased the offenders away and nothing was stolen during the incident.

He suffered facial injuries which did not require hospital treatment and police are hunting the attackers.

The offenders are described as Asian, aged in their early twenties, 5ft 7ins to 6ft. Both were wearing tracksuits, gloves and face coverings at the time of the offence.

Det Con Gemma Robinson, from Aylesbury Force CID, said: “We are investigating this incident in which a man was assaulted after offenders entered his home.

“I would like to encourage anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at around the time of the incident, or anyone with any information which could assist with enquiries, to speak to police.”
