Man threatened with knife in attempted robbery in Aylesbury

A man was threatened with a knife during an attempted robbery in Aylesbury on Sunday.

Between 4am and 4.45am the victim, a 29-year-old man, was walking from the Bicester Road BP station towards White Hill Park via an alleyway off Mount Pleasant.

A man approached him from behind and threatened him with a knife whilst demanding the victim empty his pockets.

The victim managed to get away and nothing was stolen.

The victim sustained marks and grazes but did not require hospital treatment.

The offender is white, with cuts on his hand. He was wearing a dark top and trousers.
