Man charged with escaping from open prison

A man has been charged with escaping from an open prison following an incident at HMP Springhill in Grendon Underwood last year.

Daniel Lucien, 30, and of no fixed abode was charged on Friday in connection with the incident on November 22 2015.

He was due to appear at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
