'˜Large number of people' involved in Aylesbury town centre violence which hospitalised two men

The disorder took place at around 12.15am yesterday morning (30/1) in the area of George Street, the cut-through which links Temple Street with Kingsbury.

Two men aged in their forties sustained injuries including a broken ankle and were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment.

A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Aylesbury, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH assault. They have been bailed until March 26.

Police would like to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident.

Investigating officer, Det Con Ben Giddings from Force CID at Aylesbury police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence or who has any information about what happened. It is thought there was a large number of people involved in the disorder, so if you were one of them and you have not yet spoken to police, please come forward to help with this investigation.”
