Knife man threatens staff in One Stop Shop Aylesbury raid

A knife-wielding man threatened staff during a robbery at a One Stop Shop in Prebendal Farm, Aylesbury.

Shortly before 10pm on Thursday 4 February a man entered the store in Somerville Way carrying a knife. He ordered two members of staff into the office and instructed them to take money from the safe and place it into a white plastic bag with an orange square in the middle.

black hooded top with a blue padded jacket with red inside the sleeves over the top, blue jeans, white and black striped running trainers and black leather-looking gloves. He spoke with a local accent.

Investigating officer, Det Con Edward Blackburn, of Force CID based at Aylesbury, said: “I’d like to reassure everyone that we are investigating this fully and would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.”
