The Independent Police Complaints Commission say their investigation into the police’s response to a 999 call from the home of a woman who was found dead is nearing its conclusion.
Thames Valley Police is being investigated after it took six hours to respond to the call from the home of Susan James in Dixon Close, Aylesbury at just after midnight on Saturday September 13.
During the call the line dropped out before any details were provided.
Officers arrived at the house shortly before 6am when they found Mrs James’ body.
An IPCC spokesman said: “Most lines of enquiry have been completed by our investigators.
“We have interviewed four Thames Valley Police staff members in relation to their handling of the emergency call, and reviewed police logs and radio transmissions from September 13.”
