A manager at Florence Nightingale Hospice is preparing to take on the challenge of a 10,000 foot sky dive in aid of the charity.
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity’s fundraising manager Frankie Munden, will be taking the plunge from the plane on Sunday May 10, as she joins a team of sky divers all jumping in support of the charity.
Frankie said: “I don’t know if I’m mad or brave, but I do know, I’m always asking people to take on one of our run, cycle or walk challenges to help raise funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice, so now it’s my turn to step into our supporters’ shoes by taking on a 10,000ft sky dive over Hinton Airfield.”
Alongside Frankie there will be ten other sky divers hoping to raise essential funds for FNHC, which supports both in-patient and at-home palliative care services for families battling life-limiting illness in and around Bucks.
Frankie, who lives in Shenley Church End said: “I have done a jump before so should know what to expect, but it is still a little scary! There’s still time to take on a sky dive for Florence this year, as we have another jump pencilled in for Sunday 6th September – perhaps I’ll see how I get on first, before I sign up again!”
