At around 8.40pm on Sunday February 7, the man entered the pub in London Road, Thame, demanded the till was opened and stole cash.

The incident in Thame, in which nobody was injured, is being linked with another robbery on the same road at a service station in Postcombe.

At 8pm on January 26, a man entered the Postcombe service station on the A40 London Road.

Both of these robberies are being linked with an incident in Didcot at 4.20am on Monday February 8 in which two men walked into K&K News newsagent on Brasenose Road.

One of the men threatened a member of staff with a screwdriver before the pair made off with cigarettes and cash.

The member of staff was pulled by the arm which aggravated an existing injury.

The men made off in a stolen white Ford transit Connect (partial reg PV55 ***) which was abandoned and recovered by officers later that day.

Det Sgt Anthony Maddison said: “We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who might have information in relation to the armed robberies at the pub and the newsagents.

“But if anyone has any information that could help with any of the robberies we would ask them to come forward.

“We would also like anyone who may have seen a Ford Transit Connect being driven at speed in around the Sutton Courtenay area of Abingdon, or the same vehicle being driven prior to the incident at the newsagents in the early hours of Monday morning to come forward.
