HS2 Plan two road closures in Aylesbury next week

Here's why and when the roads will be closed from.

Closure of Marsh Lane and Old Risborough Road

As part of preparatory works for the HS2 line, the Stoke Mandeville Relief Road and the construction of the internal haul road, HS2 need to install long term closures on two roads in the area - Marsh Lane and Old Risborough Road.

Both Marsh Lane and Old Risborough Road will be CLOSED from WEDNESDAY 5TH MAY 2021.

From this date there will be no through route for vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians via either of these roads.

From MONDAY 17TH MAY the ecological surveys will continue between the Bugle Horn pub and Coldharbour roundabout in Stone whilst overhanging trees are removed.

This will involve intermittent lane closures between 9am and 3pm with traffic being held for a maximum of two minutes whilst tree branches are felled and removed from the road.
