Winslow Public Hall was designed in the 1970s, and is now shared by pupils of the Sir Thomas Freemantle School who also use the facilities there.

Councillor Llew Monger said: “We want the public to get involved in the decision-making process of what the new community centre will look like.

“Instead of putting it out to public consultation, we will have an open day in December where people can throw their ideas into the hat about what the centre will look like on the inside, and what features will be available to the public.”

The consultation is set to take place on December 2 in Winslow Public Hall.
