A design and print company in Aylesbury has won a top industry award.

Fresh Design & Print in Townsend Piece, Bicester Road, picked the overall winner award at The Solutions Awards in London.

The annual awards, attended by Fresh’s Andy Gerlack and Kevin Brook, acknowledge people in the graphic arts industry for creativity, innovation, ideas and inspiration and is organised by Print Solutions magazine.

There were hundreds of entries, from which just five firms were shortlisted in each category and these were then voted for online by the magazine’s readers.

There were in excess of 5,000 votes cast.

The top award was judged by the magazine but Fresh also picked up enough votes to secure runners-up gongs in Best Solution for Books and Best Solution for Design.

It is the firm’s second award on the bounce after picking up a Scoot Headline Award in April for coming up with a new market in the recession for print to the education sector.

Mr Brook said: “This is the biggest award Fresh has won and it comes after six years of hard work and shows that if you have a dream of being highly creative in design and print and can provide real solutions to problems, you can get recognised and rewarded.

“We are very proud to win this and let all our clients know that it was them who put us here.

“For those who don’t know us come and have a chat and we will show you why we are good at what we do.”
