A number of flats in Aylesbury had to be evacuated last night (Sunday) because of a mysterious smell.

It turned out to be a flooring adhesive (methyl methacrylate resin).

One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended the flats in Wedgewood Street, Fairford Leys at 7pm.

A woman was left with the ambulance service suffering from the effects of breathing in fumes.
