Fire crews rescue dog and reunite it with owners after it gets stuck in Bedgrove storm drain

Firefighters dramatically rescued a dog from under a manhole cover after it got stuck in a storm drain in Bedgrove on Friday afternoon.

Two crews from Aylesbury fire station rescued Jude from the drain in Bedgrove Park at just after 3pm.

She was then reunited with her owner Georgina Locke after she had been rescued from under the cover, where she was found safe and well.

Jude was found about 800 metres away from where she entered the drain by firefighters wearing water rescue suits and using a Delsar listening device.

Ms Locke thanked everyone on Facebook who shared her appeal and said she was delighted that Jude had been found.
