A farm shop in Butlers Cross which opened last month has welcomed Prime Minister David Cameron for the first time.
Buckmoorend Farm Shop sells meat, biscuits, cheese, ice-cream and many other items and opened its doors on Wednesday March 23.
Owners Daniel and Stephanie Hares said they had been targeting the Prime Minister’s custom and were delighted to show to be able to show him around the site.
Mr Hares said: “We have supplied Chequers with meat for a while now and Mr Cameron has always admired the quality.”
Mrs Hares added: “Every customer who passes through our doors is equally important to us.
“We’re thrilled Mr Cameron loves the shop, so please come and visit us and see what all the fuss is about.”
Mr Cameron was particularly full of praise for the shop’s new range of goats cheeses, which he described as ‘outstanding.’
The shop is open 3.30pm to 6.30pm Wednesday to Friday and 10am to 4pm at weekends.
