The mosque is hosting a free meal at sunset (9pm) on Saturday night.

At the event, which is open to everyone, people will get the opportunity to ask questions about the religious festival, as well as enjoy traditional Indian food when that day’s fasting is broken.

Fiaz Raja, who is part of the senior leadership team at the mosque, said: “What we want is to interface with the community and give something back to them.

“We hope that lots of people will come along. It will be a good opportunity for people to learn more about Ramadan, and enjoy a good meal at the end of it.”
