Pokémon hunters can continue to search for their favourite characters while enjoying other activities in the county’s parks this summer.
People have already been spotted playing Pokémon Go, in which Pokémon characters can be found in real world locations using a mobile phone, in Black Park and Denham.
But this summer other activities are also on offer including den building at Langley Park on August 2 and 3; Kids Forest Arts Weaving on August 4 and 18, at Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre in Denham; Wizard of Oz open air musical at Langley Park on August 7; the Black Park Community Games on August 10; a creepy crawly hunt in Black Park on August 24; bushcraft in Black Park on August 29; and Lakeside Fair in Black Park on August 31.
Warren Whyte, councillor for planning and environment at Bucks County Council, said: “It is quite extraordinary how the new Pokémon Go game is encouraging millions of fans to get off their sofas and step out into the great outdoors.
“Our beautiful country parks offer an amazing environment to enjoy the game, hunt for those rare characters and do battle with like-minded people.
“And, as ever, there’s an amazing range of special activities to keep the whole family entertained during the school summer holidays.”
Fans are reminded to take care while playing Pokémon Go around roads, lakes and other obstacles.
