There is a chance to listen to warblers, look at flowers and admire the aerobatics of dragonflies during a tour of a reservoir.
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust are hosting a tour of Weston Turville Reservoir on Sunday June 7 from 10am to 12pm, with wildlife expert Diccon Proctor, a volunteer warden at the reservoir.
Mr Proctor said: “This fenland nature reserve is fascinating because it is home to unusual wildlife that have specially adapted to live in and around the reedbeds.
“The walk on Sunday is a rare chance to look behind the scenes, and visit parts of the nature reserve that are not usually open to the public.”
You are invited to bring your camera and binoculars to get the most of this wildlife experience, and are advised to wear wellingtons or sturdy boots as some paths may be muddy.
