Rates of student exclusions in Bucks '˜not acceptable'

Students from Black backgrounds in Buckinghamshire schools were expelled at a rate 3.5x higher than white children, according to new statistics released by the government.

Exclusions data, contained in a release by the Department of Education as part of the new ‘Ethnicity Facts and Figures’ website published on October 10, shows a disproportion in the ethnicities of students kicked out of schools.
