The boss of a charity which aims to improve Bucks’ schools has left after less than a year-and-a-half in charge.
Raza Khan helped set up the Bucks Learning Trust, a collaboration between the county council, schools and other education authorities, when it launched in August 2013.
Dr Peter Holding. chairman of the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust said Mr Khan, who was the charity’s chief executive officer, had ‘left the trust to pursue other interests in the private sector’.
He went on: “ Raza played an instrumental role in setting up the Trust and delivering its first year’s results .The trustees and senior leaders believe that the trust is well placed to deliver outstanding services to schools and other education settings and outcomes for children.
“We look forward to working in partnership with school leaders and the local authority to improve opportunities for children and young people throughout Buckinghamshire and beyond.”
