Dog charity gets cheque from RAF staff

A dog charity has been presented with a cheque by staff at RAF Halton.
RAF Halton Donate ?1594 to Bucks Search Dogs.  Following a recent success of Beau the Dog finding a missing civilian, RAF Halton and the Stn Cdr gladly donate monies to the charity to support the local efforts. Search Dogs Buckinghamshire were presented with a cheque for £1,594 by RAF Halton’s Station Commander Adrian Burns.

A spokesman for Search Dogs Bucks said: “We appreciate the continued support from RAF Halton, especially their generous donation and use of station real estate for training.

“We would also like to say a special thank you to Sgt Tony Wood and members of the Initial Force Protection Training flight for raising £1200 in a single event specifically for the charity where they completed a loaded march and an obstacle course.”

Search Dogs Bucks is a charity made up of volunteers who assist the police with searching for missing and vulnerable people within Bucks and Oxfordshire.
