A 24-year-old woman from Aylesbury could become the new face and body of a top underwear brand after winning through to the final stages of the Star in a Bra contest.
Emma Webley, 24, has already beaten more than 1,000 curvy women from around the world in the annual competition, with the winner joing D plus underwear brand, Curvy Kate, on their summer photo shoot.
They will also enjoy an all-expense paid trip to the Mediterranean for two with £1,000 spending money and be awarded a year-long modelling contract with Bridge Models Limited.
Emma, a management consultant whose bra size is 36HH, will battle against 24 other international women who will now be put to a public vote. The semi-finalists will then be invited to London for a photoshoot and makeover with the Curvy Kate team, before a final public vote.
She said: “I’ve always been inspired by the curvaceous girls who enter and win Star in a Bra.
“For me, the competition is all about embracing and celebrating your shape, whether petite or fuller busted.
“However, I’ve never had the confidence to enter myself until I met the Curvy Kate team at the Cosmopolitan Lingerie Show. They helped me realise that my boobs are a big part of me, not just in their size but also in the fact they make me who I am – fun, flirty and fierce.
“Star in a Bra is a fabulous competition as it gives curvaceous women a chance to be seen in an environment which celebrates all shapes and sizes.
“I would absolutely love to win and be able to help every fuller-busted woman feel the way I do about my body.”
Curvy Kate is known for their its use of non-professional models to showcase its underwear.
