Woman dragged off street and attacked in vehicle in Aylesbury

A woman has been dragged off a street in Aylesbury into a nearby vehicle, where she was assaulted and had a quantity of cash stolen.

The incident occurred at around 4.35pm on Wednesday 10 June in Griffin Lane, Aylesbury.

The victim is described as a woman in her twenties. Her mobile phone was also damaged during the attack.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have information about this incident to please come forward.

“I would also urge any motorists who have dash-cams to check footage in case it may have captured anything that could assist with the investigation.

A 37-year-old man from Aylesbury has been charged and a trial will be held in due course.
