Two men detained over driving offences after police chase in Aylesbury

Police have now revealed details of the incident, which happened at around 9pm on Monday.

Thames Valley Police patrol officers attempted to stop two vehicles, a Ford Fiesta and a Vauxhall Astra, but they failed to stop in Prince Rupert Drive on the Buckingham Park estate adjacent to Watermead.

"Two males were located and detained near to Watermead, Aylesbury, and were reported for various road traffic offences, including driving with no insurance and driving in an anti-social manner," a police spokesman told The Bucks Herald.

"The Ford Fiesta was seized under Section 165 (for being driven with no insurance) and the Astra was seized under Section 59 (anti-social driving).

"No arrests were made."
